Overall excellent lesson that was structured and engaging for the students.

The
students were excited for the activity and stayed on task as well as worked on the
teamwork/collaboration skills. Love the creativity and extensions to continue students

*Good job with the clap 1x, 2x etc. to get their
attention and to have them listen.

*JR: when the students were taking the ropes back, I


would suggest talking about putting both handles in
one hand and the other hand holds the middle of the
rope so no one gets hit with kids swinging the ropes.

Good job with your behavior management. You talked with the student that was sitting out in a
calm manner, addressed the issue and he went back in and participated 

Start/stop: Students have learned the expectation and listen.

Kids had fun with the music selection 

Good use of color coordination to assist students with knowing their groups. Super fun activity
and the kids were definitely into it. Sticky notes worked perfect to change up the letters/word
for the students to continue the activity.

Excellent closure. Provided questions to check for understanding and then completed a cross-
curriculum component with the spelling words  The regular classroom teacher will love that in
the future.
