To Whom It May Concern:

This letter of recommendation is for Michael Hamilton, who student taught in my classroom. I have had the
opportunity to work closely with Mr. Hamilton during the semester of 2019. Mr. Hamilton has been a student
teacher in my third, fourth and fifth grade Learning Support/Autistic Support classroom at Ebenezer Elementary
School in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District.

Mr. Hamilton’s teaching responsibilities included phonics instruction, sight word instruction, math instruction,
social language instruction, as well as science, and social studies instruction. Throughout his tenure in my
classroom, Mr. Hamilton was an active participant in the day-to-day functions of not only my classroom, but of the
school’s activities schedule. In addition to teaching responsibilities, Mr. Hamilton assisted with behavior support,
attended IEP meetings, and attended faculty meetings.

Mr. Hamilton’s lessons were well developed and planned to include each student’s individual needs. He was good
at engaging the students in the lessons and making them motivating.

As a person, Mr. Hamilton was caring and did his best to understand the unique needs of each student. He worked
hard on his professional relationship with students and staff in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. Mr. Hamilton
possessed an enthusiastic personality. He had good rapport with the students he worked with. He was professionally
dressed and always ready with a smile and a kind word.
