1. Project aims
Integrate and protect the principles of gender equality, dignity and respect for all employees in the
workplace. Propagating and promoting equality for all employees in the company should be focused and
the core focus for any business. Because of the specific benefits for the development of the business,
diversity and equality in the workplace is a trend that nowadays multinational companies and
corporations are interested and integrated into the strategy. their business.
According to [ CITATION NAV18 \l 1041 ], in terms of recruiting in businesses, 54% of the respondents
said that businesses where they work have a fair, gender-free hiring policy. Nearly half (42%) say that
their businesses do not have this policy or they do not know for sure where they have it. Also in the
recruitment field, 39% of male candidates surveyed shared that they were once admitted to work only
because they were male. 19% of female candidates who took part in the survey said that they had been
rejected from work just because they were female. This shows that businesses in Vietnam do not really
care about this issue.
In other words, it seems that only foreign companies pay attention to such equality and diversity issues,
such as Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, etc., but this issue has not been highly appreciated and especially
by Vietnam. be concerned. This is a recent hot issue, so domestic businesses need to have policies and
guidelines for employees to follow to accept equality and diversity in the workplace in their businesses.
1. Cost
The project cost focused on data research issues such as hiring experts with 5 million dong.
2. Scope
Subjects surveyed this time include:
Employees and managers are exposed to a fair and diverse working environment.
Based on the answers of these three respondents, it is possible to make judgments about people who
are not working and are working in their corporate environment on diverse topics and work equality.
3. Time
This project was completed in 4 weeks, divided into 5 stages:
Stage1: “Set goals”, last for 3 days (from 1st to 3rd, March 2020)
Stage2: “Prepare”, last for 7 days (from 4th to 10th, March 2020)
Stage3: “Research”, last for 7 days (from 7th to 13th, March 2020)
Stage 4: “Data processing”, last for 12 days (from 14th to 24th, March 2020)
Stage 5: “Present”, last for 3 days (from 25th to 28th, March 2020)
4. Quality
Students with part-time experience and full-time staff were the subjects of this survey. Include both
workers and managers on what they think about diversity and equality in workplace aspects. From the
experiences of the different working environments of the survey participants, the data and results
collected will be more comprehensive and persuasive.
5. Communication
This survey will take place by: filling out the online survey form.
The information collected will be kept confidential and separate, for the privacy of individuals
participating in the survey. All people who participate in the review have the right to contribute the same
opinion.
