Company History

IDT Consultants Pty Ltd (IDT) is a civil and structural engineering consultancy specialising in
design of high-rise buildings, mining and resources and infrastructure projects. The basis for
IDT's work stems from 15 years of internationally-recognised research. IDT Consultants Pty
Ltd prides itself with a strong research base, with staff members actively contributing to
research and development in the areas of structural engineering, offshore and mining
structures, oil spill response and protective technologies.

Our Company
Vietnam Office

Our Vietnam office in Hanoi has been operating since 2002. The Vietnam office has carried
out many drafting jobs and engineering analyses for the Australia and Middle East markets.
IDT Vietnam Corp. has officially opened in early 2006 with full licences to operate as a multi-
disciplinary engineering consultant and construction company in many market sectors
including: mining and resources, building and infrastructure, energy, transport, environment
and defence.

Our Hanoi office consists of a group of 28 engineers including Civil, Structural, Mining,
Petrochemical, Mechanical and Electrical engineers. A drafting centre with 35 draftman is
working under the supervision of our highly-experienced engineers.

IDT Vietnam has formed partnerships with engineering and architectural consultants (i.e.
Hacid Co. Ltd, HUCE Consulting Co, DucThai Co) as well as construction companies (i.e. VIC
Corporation and West Lake Construction Co.).

Engineering and Drafting Services

IDT is a pioneer engineering consulting and CAD services provider serving clients in Australia
and overseas. Our solutions are fully customised to the specific needs of our clients. The
company drafting centre operates from Hanoi. IDT’s engineering division provides solutions
ranging from analysis & design of reinforce concrete, steel structures, dynamic analysis of
machine foundations, modeling and analysis of machines and structures using software such
as ABAQUS, ANSYS, SAP, ETABS, STRAND7, SPACEGASS.

Our Hanoi office is familiar with a majority of international codes including IBC, UBC, AISC,
Australian, Canadian and British codes. The Drafting centre is capable of providing drafting
services for Architectural, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical works including Piping Design and
Detailing. AutoCAD is the primary software used. Apart from drafting, the Drafting centre also
provides 3D and 4D modelling, animation and CAD programming facilities.

compressor and pump stations, meter and regulator stations. A full range of software tools
