FADE IN:
HELLO, WELCOME TO UNDER PRESSURE SWIM BLOG. TODAY WE WILL
BE EXAMINING SPRINT KICKS .

The sprint kick drill is one of the best drills for your
legs. While wearing the Kaatsu bands around your upper
thigh, you can strengthen your leg muscles. Sprint kicking
with the bands on also records the speed into your muscle
memory, so each time you do the drill it seems like you go
a bit faster each time. There are two different way to do
this drill. The first is that you just do 25 yards 100%
sprint with fins being optional or you could have a
restriction band or bungee around your waist and do the
sprint kicks that way, the fins still be optional. Either
drill completed gets the same outcome, but the bungee
sprints are on the more challenging side.

INCORRECTLY

The incorrect way to do this drill is by

not sprinting, giving up while using a
bungee, or doing the kick incorrectly as a
whole so that your muscles remember it
that way.
CORRECTLY

The correct way to complete this drill is

by trying to sprint and push yourself.
Either work on your speed improvement or
fix a little tweak in your technique for
the muscle memory aspect.
