1. Currently, Hawaii imports approximately 90% of the food that is consumed by its
population, but in the past it was not, the populations were sustainable because

preserve nature, as is the case in Hawaii, where having species that are not
native there, is endangering your ecosystem.
5. Artisanal fishing, is a work that is observed not only in Hawaii, but in many other
parts of the world, this fishing is more friendly to the environment than large-scale
fishing carried out by the industries, likewise this work is developed by people
who in most cases carry it out to bring food to their home and not as a business,
which in the future would cause food shortages due to non-importation, resulting
