RESEARCH / WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Working as Sr. Technical Manager of Inhana Organic Research


Foundation – An Agriculture based Research Organization working in
the field of Organic Farming (about 9 years, From June, 2006 - till
date).
2. Worked as a Senior Research Fellow in NBSS & LUP (From Sept., 2001
to December, 2004).
3. Worked as sales trainee in Godrej Agrovet (From Feb, 2001 to
August, 2001)

PRESENT RESEARCH / WORK PROFILE

1. As a Senior Technical Manager working on different aspects of Organic


Crop Production as well as Chemical Reduction Programme
towards safer end product. Formulation of experimental protocols,
monitoring of experiments and interpretation of results has been the
core work, towards the above objectives besides dissemination of know-
how regarding scientific organic farming as well as the pathway to
ensure successful organic crop production; among the agricultural
fraternity.
2. The work also involves monitoring of organic tea production in
different organic tea estates of Assam and Darjeeling including one of
the world’s biggest certified organic tea estates.
3. Worked as a team member in an International Organic Farming
Project (FAO-CFC-TBI project – Development, Production &
Trade of Organic Tea) on behalf of Inhana Biosciences - the Project
Implementer of the Assam Chapter in Organic Model Farm (100 ha) at
Maud Tea Estate, Assam from 2008 till 2012. The objectivity of the
Project was ‘Development of a Sustainable Pathway for Organic
Tea Cultivation’.
4. Working as project coordinator for different organic crop trials on
vegetables and plantation crops in different Government &
University Agricultural farms viz. Krishnagar Horticultural Farm,
Chinsurah Banana Research Centre, BCKV Agricultural Farm and Visva
Bharati University Agricultural Farm.
5. Actively involved in laying out necessary field trials, monitoring of field activities,
documentation of Agronomic data, interpretation of results and also in Thesis writing of
six MSc. project Programmes that were conducted under the guidance of Prof.

conventional chemical and organic tea estates as well as Howrah KVK.
6. Associated with present ‘Waste to Wealth Programme’ at North
Barackpore & Garuliya Municipality (North 24 Parganas) for
monitoring, process modulation as per nature of raw materials,
quality assessment and scientific documentation. The objectivity
is to develop quality compost from municipality solid waste
through scientific biodegradation process as well as quality monitoring
as per international standards.
