THE UNEXPECTED

As soon as he got out of the car, Martin felt uneasy. He was thinking for a few minutes
about that confession that his best friend Jose had told him. He is gay and he was feeling a
strong attraction for him for a long time.

Jose was afraid that when Martin found out about it, he could get away and their friendship
would have ended forever. But even so, he decided to tell him, having a little hope that
Martin would take it well.

But at that moment Martin did not know what attitude to take, so he got angry and told him
that he was going away for a few days while thinking about what he had said.

After a while, Martin learned that Jose had made the worst decision, without a second
thought after seeing the reaction of his best friend, he committed suicide. Knowing this,
Martin felt guilty and thought "If I had listened to him and understood him at that moment,
Jose could have been alive".

From this day on, every change in Martin's life, he was never the same and he got into a
deep depression. Martin´s family and Jose´s family to see him so bad, decided to put him in
a nursing home to take psychological therapies.

Something that his family and Jose his best friend did not know is that Martin is also gay
and he did not decide to tell anyone for fear of rejection.
