305 Series SCV Quick Couplers

In addition to all of the features of 205 series SCV’s
the 305 offers:
• Selectable detents allow the switching between
“No detent”, ideal for loader operation, and
“Mechanical detent”, for continuous hydraulic
motor operation.
• The control dial is located on the SCV and may be
reached from the operator’s seat.
• Neutral start protection releases lever to neutral
when the engine is switched off.
• A hydraulic detent, where the SCV lever will
remain selected until a pre-set pressure is reached.

Dust protection for quick couplers

The dust protection kit for quick couplers has to be
ordered depending on the number of SCV’s mounted
to the tractor - one is needed for each SCV. The kit
includes the dust protection cover, tubes, connections
and seals to equip for one SCV.
Furthermore a SCV oil spillage reservoir is needed
because when connecting or disconnecting quick
couplers, especially under pressure, there always leaks
a small amount of oil from the system. This reservoir
collects these oil leaks and therefore avoids a soiled
rear of your tractor, where dust and particles easily
adhere.

5 MISCELLANEOUS
5.1 OPERATOR´S STATION Instructional seat

The comfortable, soft-moulded instructional seat,
complete with backrest, is located to the left of the
MSG83 Super Comfort seat operator. Due to the overall roominess of the cab, the
instructional seat has excellent access with plenty of
head and shoulder clearance along with large leg-room
area. A grab handle on the “A” post and an additional
grab rail on the door will help the passenger to feel
safe and secure, even over rough terrain. When not
required, the seat can be simply folded away.

Telescopic Rear View Mirrors Performance Monitor

Telescopic mirrors offer manually adjustable
telescopic arms with manually adjustable mirrors. The
mirror mounts are offset on the stem to allow for
further adjustment and better head clearance when
entering the cab.
A performance monitor is available for all 5020 series

tractors with PowrQuad Plus transmission.
It can be installed on the upper right “A” post in the
cab and is connected directly to the tractor’s electrical

The field office for the 5020 series tractors is a large

portfolio pouch where papers, operator manuals, music

unit is removable to be carried like a brief case. Its

devices like mobile telephones, or laptop computers.

5.6 STORAGE Additional Storage Container - 45l
Tool Box
With a capacity of 45 l and a 45 kg maximum payload

this new sheet metal storage container offers additional
space, e.g. for rubber boots, oil cans, bulky tools,
grease guns etc.
Equipped with 2 handles at the side it can easily be
carried. With the help of the included quick lock pin
the container can be closed rapidly.
The fastening on the back allows a quick installation to
all existing front weights: base weights, front weights
and the 900 kg pick up weight.
An external detachable and lockable tool box with

convenient carrying handle is mounted to the main
tractor frame on the right hand side.
It has the capacity to hold tools and a selection of
linkage balls, hitch pins and linchpins for implement
attachment.

Front implements like mowers often require additional
fixing points at the tractor to guide and support

Hitch Holder for upper wagon hitch

Changing the implement from trailer to three-point
hitch in the field and not knowing where to put the
upper trailer hitch.
John Deere now offers the solution - the hitch holder
for the upper wagon hitch. The holder is a convenient
solution that can easily be mounted within minutes
onto all kinds of front weights with coupling recess.
The wagon hitch can easily be affixed and is stored in
a convenient height you can reach without stooping.
The holder is adjusted with two fixing screws that
again can be adjusted in two widths depending on the
weight the holder has been mounted onto.

Security door lock kit Lockable fuel tank cap

Locking the cab with an individual key, different from
the standard ignition key, is helpful for many different
applications of the tractor. John Deere therefore offers
the Security door lock field installation kit. It features
an individual key system that prevents misuse of the
standard ignition key. This field kit provides individual
security by individual keys for all equipment kept
inside the cab. The kit comes with four keys, in case of
damage or loss a blank key can be ordered.
