Black History Month!

Black history month (BHM) is a time in America, Canada, and
The United Kingdom, when everyone celebrates the
achievements and contributions of black people to
society. In America and Canada, it is always celebrated
in February. Black History month started as Black
History week, but over time, was changed to
last for 30 days. Many schools have festivals and plays
during this time. Community groups, museums,
churches, and other groups often have special events
to celebrate as well. People are encouraged to think
about African Americans in society who inspire
them, and also think about ways to inspire those around
