 Objectives
The aims of carrying out this project work are to :
i) Develop mathematical knowledge in a way which
increases students’ interest and confidence.
ii) Apply mathematics to everyday situations and to
begin to understand the part that mathematics plays in
the world in which we live.
iii) Improve thinking skills and promote effective
mathematical communication.
iv) Assist students to develop positive attitude and
personalities, intrinsic mathematical values such as
accuracy, confidence and systematic reasoning.
v) Stimulate learning and enhance effective learning.

First and foremost! I would like to thank you for giving

me the strength to finish this project work.
Not forgotten my parents for providing everything
including support and endorsement on finishing the
work related to this project which are the most needed
for this project. They also encouraged me to complete
this task so that I will not procrastinate in doing it.Then!
I would like to thank my Additional Mathematics
teachers,Miss Chieng for guiding me and my friends
throughout this project.We had some difficulties while
doing the task, but she taught us patiently until we
know what to do.Last but not least, I would to say thank
you and express my highest gratitude to all those who
gave me the possibility to complete this coursework.

This project needs to be done to fulfill the terms for Additional

Mathematics paper by the Ministry of Education Malaysia.In part of
that,the duration for this project work to complete by individually
either in a group should not exceed three weeks which the deadline is
at 1 May.This time,I have to accomplish this project work about my
class Mathematics result based on semester 1 and semester 2 at
school.It was my duty to obtain marks for mathematics subject to
determine the average marks which shows the school academic
performance.I also have to seek my friends for interview about
learning strategies in pursuit os excellence.

The aims of carrying out this project work are to :

teacher to find the best way to produce the best project work that can
be the best guidance for those who want to know about the average
marks of mathematics.

I hope that this project can improve my thinking skills in subject

additional mathematics.
