Directions:

Read all the instructions and review the Resources. You have completed your work for today once you have:

1. Created a playlist and posted your work in your scrapbook.

2. Completed your MiWrite assignment and pasted your revised writing in your scrapbook.

Part 1:
In order to get ready for this trip, you will have two assignments to complete. First
of all, it’s a road trip, so you’ve got to have music. It’s got to be good music. If
you don’t pick out the music, who knows what the adults in the car will try to
make you listen to. In order to prevent that, you are going to come up with a
playlist.
PRODUCT:
You are going to create a playlist of at least 5 songs. For each song, include the title, artist, and a sentence or
two explaining why the song is important to you. Please make sure all titles are appropriate for school. Put your
list into your memoir.

Part 2:
This spring break was like no other we have experienced. We had to shelter-in-
place. Even if we had wanted to go somewhere, we had no place to go.
PRODUCT:
Go to MiWrite and answer the prompt comparing this spring break to previous
spring breaks you have had. Use the feedback that MiWrite gives you to correct
errors and add detail to your paragraph. Then, paste this paragraph into your
scrapbook.
