Description: Danisco Sales Services Inc, one of the country's largest retail store chains, With
more than $10 billion in annual sales, having thousands of stores nationwide, needs a solution,
that minimize the inventory levels, and to eliminate under or over stocking which sources sales,
inventory, and forecast data from existing data sources and computes the various performance
measures for reporting, on its way to becoming one of the world's fastest growing, best-Managed
over-the-counter companies.
The Sales Analysis Warehouse integrate and aggregate the data from the inventory and
sales data from all of its stores and measure the effectiveness of the sales by reporting key
performance indicators as revenues and profits generated per foot by store, and revenues and
profits generated per displayed inch of a product.
This project extracts data from the present OLTP systems and loads it to the Data warehouse to
create standard & ad-hoc reports from the Data warehouse.
