Position L1.5 - IP Performance & Reporting

Work Location Mumbai

Responsible for overall IP Network Performance Reporting to ensure

Scope
defined Quality of Service.
 Creating & Maintaining all KPIs Dashboard / Reports as per various
requirements.
 Having good analytical capability and to be able to grasp new concepts, work
innovatively and contribute independently.
 Achieve the network performance objectives and ensure that the KPIs (Key
Responsibilities Performance Indicators) are within the designed / agreed SLA limits.
 Should be able to optimize degradation in KPIs such as Packet loss,
Latency, Jitter etc.
 Able to correlate the alarms with the various KPIs and take necessary action
 Monitor the KPIs on regular basis & Define KPIs for continual improvement

 Hands on experience on IP Data Network in Service Provider’s performance

Management team.
 Familiar with all performance parameters of IP Network equipments.
 Sound knowledge & hands on experience on various Routing protocols
(ISIS, BGP, OSPF etc.), Switching, MPLS, QoS, Multicast, IPv6, VLAN/IP
planning, Internet Peering, CDN and Transparent Caching.
 Should have worked on OSS platforms and IP Node integrations to OSS
 Familiar with various Network Performances monitoring tools.
 Good Team player, motivation, Good Interpersonal relationship, Strong
Requirements analytical skills, Good in troubleshooting, Time management & Good
communication skills.
 Adaptability to new Technologies
 Compliance to SLAs with customer
 Customer Orientation
 Work completion/ implementation as per Target
 Familiarity with various O&M & NOC Activities.
 Able to work under pressure
 Hands on experience with Microsoft Packages
 B.E./B.Tech. Engineer (Electronic, Telecommunication) with 3 to 5 years of
experience in performance management of IP Network.
 CCNP Certified.
