There is no installer for Renegade. You can place the Indiginus Renegade folder anywhere on your
computer. Many people create a dedicated Sample Libraries folder, and place their non-Player
Kontakt libraries (like this one) there.
Renegade will not show up in the Libraries list in Kontakt’s Browser. Instead, use the “Files” tab.
Use the “Files” tab to navigate to the Indiginus Renegade folder, not the “Libraries” tab.
Select the
Instruments folder in
the upper window,
and the instruments it
contains will appear
in the lower window.
To view the presets,
highlight the Presets
folder.
Instruments appear in
this window. To see
the Presets, hightlight
the Presets folder in
the UPPER window.
Snapshots are a new feature in Kontakt 5 (see user guide on how to use them).
Unfortunately, they must be moved from the Indiginus Renegade folder to a place where Kontakt
knows where to find them.
But if you are adept at moving files around on your computer, forge right ahead.
Of course, ahem, we’re not responsible if you somehow turn your computer into a useless chunk
of plastic. No really, we’re not going very deep here.
Then, Click on the “Disk icon and you’ll see this dialog box:
Enter a name for your Snapshot. We’re using “Renegade Test Snapshot”. Then hit “Save”.
After you have saved it, do a search for your Snapshot file, which in our case would be
Renegade Test Snapshot.nksn. You will find it in a new Renegade folder that Kontakt
created in Documents/ Native Instruments/User Content/Kontakt/Renegade. This is
where you will paste the files from inside your Snapshots folder.
Kontakt will have made all of the folders for you, so all you have to do is copy all of the
other Snapshot files from the Snapshot folder.
Almost finished......
Copy all of
these guys.
