PLANS FOR THE REMAINING HALF

FM 303

FM 301

FM 201
 Online Discussion Forum – 5% 3 left. It will happen week8, 10, 12
 Online Quiz 5%- 3 left week 11, 13 14
 Individual assignment 5%
 Major assignment 15%- This major project will be based on analyzing a listed company
on the SPX. Detailed question and marking rubric will be uploaded on Moodle in week 8.
Project assessment will be done in two parts: 10% for written submission and 5% for a
video presentation to present key findings. Video presentations will be done in week 13
based on the schedule that will be provided by the coordinator.
 Mid semester Test- 20% - MST structure will be as follows:
- MCQs (5%)
- Problem Solving questions (15%)

MST will be conducted over a period of one week, as stated in the Due date column. It will be
held online via Moodle where each section will be time controlled and managed by the
Coordinator. MST will open up at 9am on Monday of week 9 and will close at 5pm Friday of the
same week. Students can choose to submit solutions at any time during the scheduled period.
Note that once MST attempt is initiated, students will have 8 to 12 hours to complete and
submit as this is a time controlled assessment and not self-paced.
 Finals Exam 50% All coverage between weeks 8 to 14 will be tested in the final examination.
Final Exam structure will be as follows:
- Problem Solving questions (35%)
- Case Study (15%)
Final Exam will be conducted over a period of one week, as stated in the Due date column. It

AF 302
 Moodle quiz – 10% - 5 quiz all together. 2 finished, next one is in week 10

- assignment 1 include research report in essay format which was given in week 6 of this
semester. This assignment is due in Week 10 Sunday, 10th May 2020 at 11.55pm [Fiji
Time]. Submission to be done online only. (The Assignment 1 requirements re- posted
under Course Assessement).

 Assignment 2 (15%) due in Week 12 (Sunday, 24th May, 2020 @ 11.55pm) - Face to
Face and Blended Mode Students
- assignment 2 consist of Critical Thinking Questions and One Case Study. This
assignment is due in Week 12 Sunday, 10th May, 2020 at 11.55pm [Fiji
Time]. Submission to be done online only. (Assignment 2 requirements posted under
Course Assessement).

Part B: Final Assessement Component (50%)

 An open book assessment worth 50 marks and distributed in 2 parts; 

 Part 1: Online Multiple Choice Questions (25 marks):


- includes 50 multiple choice questions which covers chapters 1 to 14. This assessement
will open in Week 13 Monday, 25th May, 2020 at 6.00am and close in Week 13 Sunday, 31st
May, 2020 at 11.55pm. Students will be given 2 hours 15 minutes to attempt the Online
Multiple Choice Questions. ONLY ONE (1 ATTEMPT) will be granted. 

 Part 2: Case Study Questions (25 marks)


- include a case study which covers chapters 1 to 14. This assessment will open in Week 14
Monday, 1st June, 2020 at 8.00am and close in Week 14 Sunday, 7th June, 2020 at
11.55pm. The case study will be uploaded in a PDF document once the student opens the
document he/she will be given 4 hours 15 minutes to attempt the question and submit it in the
dropbox provided. MS Word document will be acceptable and answers to be written in point
form only.
