War of the Ring (WotR) 2nd Ed, Lords of Middle-earth (LoMe), Warriors of Middle-earth (WoMe) (2017-04-27) SP is “Shadow Armies

SP is “Shadow Armies Player”, FP is “Free People’s Player”, FSP is “Fellowship Party”, AD is “Action Die/Dice”
LoMe Use 1 Keeper / Lesser Minion die per turn. Must use Eye if rolled. Remove a die at next Recover Phase if its character was eliminated, or if die used had a  and Gandalf the White (for FP) or Witch-king (for SP, either form) is in play.
FP Companions The FSP (Fellowship), Gandalf (any version), Aragorn, base game Hobbits (but not LoMe Hobbits) activate any Nation if end movement at a City/Stronghold of that Nation. Strider may activate only The North.
Gandalf Keeper of Narya 1 Leadership. Not a Captain or a Champion, so no bonus Combat die.
Narya If Gandalf Keeper of Narya at any Settlement, as an Action (using Narya + any AD)  Activate and move that Nation directly to At War.
● Guide Add Narya die a) On turn 1 if start as Guide, and b) If Gandalf Keeper of Narya is Guide and 1 FP AD was recovered from Hunt Box this turn. Emissary from the West Gandalf (Wanderer or Keeper) can become Gandalf the White. 
Gandalf Grey Wanderer 1 Leadership. (Captain of the West +1 Combat die) 3 Move / 3 Hunt Damage. Guide If Event AD plays Event / Faction  draw same. If Wanderer or Keeper eliminated or separated from FSP + Minion in play,  .

Gandalf the White Choose per battle: 1 Leadership or White Rider (cancel Nazgûl Leadership). 3 (or 4 if alone or with 1 Hobbit) + AD Will of the West  White replace if in play or to Fangorn / unconquered Elf Stronghold if not..
Strider Dúnadan 1 Leadership. (Captain of the West +1 Combat die). 3 Move / 3 Hunt damage. Cannot activate Gondor. Guide If step 1+ of FSP track, 1st die of FSP move each turn is not added to Hunt Box.
Strider Ranger of the North 1 Leadership. (Captain of the West +1 Combat die). 3 Move / 3 Hunt damage. Cannot activate Gondor. Guide Use any Action die to hide a revealed FSP. Either Strider may Activate The North.
Aragorn Heir to Isildur 2 Leadership. (Captain of the West +1 Combat die). 3 Move / Level 3 for Cards. + AD If Strider at Gondor City/Stronghold, use Will of the West  Aragorn. + Activate Gondor. ..

Elrond Keeper of Vilya 2 Leadership. Vilya Keep used AD / Keeper die, except Will of the West. 0 Move but Level 3 for Cards. Elites in Rivendell are also Leaders. If Sauron or Elves At War + Rivendell unconquered Muster  Rivendell.
Galadriel Keeper of Nenya 2 Leadership. Nenya Ignore+remove drawn standard Eye. Draw new tile. 0 Move but Level 3 for Cards. Muster in Lórien even if besieged. If Sauron or Elves At War + Lórien unconquered Muster  Lórien.
Boromir Son of Denethor 1 Leadership. (Captain of the West +1 Combat die). 2 Move / 2 Hunt damage. If at Gondor City/Stronghold: Activate Gondor, also any Action die  Politics +1 step. ..

Gimli Son of Gloin 1 Leadership. (Captain of the West +1 Combat die). 2 Move / 2 Hunt damage. If at Erebor: Activate Dwarf, also any Action die  Politics +1 step. .

Legolas Son of Thranduil 1 Leadership. (Captain of the West +1 Combat die). 2 Move / 2 Hunt damage. If at Elf Stronghold: Any Action die  Politics +1 step (Elves already start Activated). ..

Meriadoc Brandybuck 1 Leadership. Not a Captain or a Champion, so no bonus Combat die. 1 Move Guide Take 1 Hunt damage then Take Them Alive! Activate any Nation if stop at a City/Stronghold of that Nation.  .

Peregrin Took 1 Leadership. Not a Captain or a Champion, so no bonus Combat die. 1 Move Take Them Alive! If a Hobbit is eliminated as Guide or Companion in FSP, put back into play as if just separated from FSP.
Boromir  Minas Tirith 1 Leadership. (Champion +1 Combat die if defender in Gondor/Osgiliath). 2 Move but Level 1 for Hunt / Cards. Guide If LoMe Boromir/Gimli/Legolas eliminated in Hunt, put back in play as if just separated.
Gimli  Erebor 1 Leadership. (Champion +1 Combat die if defender in Dwarven Nation). 2 Move but Level 1 for Hunt / Cards. Messenger If Boromir at Gondor City/Stronghold, Gimli at Erebor, Legolas at Elf Stronghold  .

Legolas  Woodland Realm 1 Leadership. (Champion +1 Combat die if defender in Elf Strongholds). 2 Move but Level 1 for Hunt / Cards. … then use any Action die  Activate that Nation and move Politics +1 step. .

Meriadoc  The Shire 1 Leadership. (Champion +1 Combat die if defender in The North). 1 Move Guide Eliminate both LoMe Hobbits to cancel any 1 standard (beige) Hunt Tile. Any AD  Activate North and Politics +1 step.
Peregrin  The Shire 1 Leadership. (Champion +1 Combat die if defender in The North). 1 Move The Art of Disappearing If a LoMe Hobbit is eliminated in battle, put back into play to an adjacent region. .
Treebeard Tree-Herd 0 Leadership. (Earthborn +1 Combat die if defender in Fangorn/Rohan). 0 Move / 2 after playing any Ents Awake Event card. Gandalf the White in play + Companion in Fangorn, Muster Fangorn.
Treebeard [WoMe variant] 0 Leadership. (Earthborn +1 Combat die if defender in Fangorn/Rohan). 0 Move / 2 after March of the Ents / Ents Call to Battle. Gandalf the White in play + Companion in Fangorn, Muster / Recruit  Fangorn.
Sméagol Tamed Wretch Sméagol hunt tiles are always 0 damage. Guide His Level is the same as the highest Level Companion in the FSP. If Gollum not in play, Sméagol joins FSP as Guide immediately if a Sméagol hunt tile is drawn. ..

● If Sméagol is eliminated or discarded in any way from the FSP (except when being replaced by Gollum), the We Shall Get It card enters play. Discard Sméagol if he is separated or if FSP declares in a free FP City or Stronghold.
● We Shall Get It Play on table (used by SP). If Gollum is Guide, after a Hunt tile has been drawn, SP may discard We Shall Get It to draw another Hunt tile. Apply the effects of the second tile, then return the first tile to the Hunt Pool.
Gollum Slave of the Ring Guide Ignore reveals on standard numbered tiles but not Eye or Special tiles + may choose to reveal to reduce hunt damage by 1 (also on Special tiles). Gollum becomes Guide when all other Companions have gone.

SP Minions (and Nazgûl / Isengard Elites) WK (Witch-king) (either form) is a Nazgûl and a Minion for all events / rules. WK CoR / Gothmog / Balrog are not Minions for the purposes of bringing Gandalf the White into play. .
WK BC (Black Captain) 2 Leadership. ∞ Move. Sorcerer If use a Combat card (only in 1st round)  draw same type. + AD for WK (either form). Cancel all Nazgûl Leadership per battle if Gandalf the White uses White Rider ability.
● Nazgûl [8 figures] 1 Leadership. ∞ Move. Muster  If either WK in play, can change to other form (BC / CoR) once per game (p.28). Muster if Sauron and 1 FP Nation At War  WK BC to a Sauron Army + Activate all Free Nations.
WK CoR (Chief of Ringwraiths) 1 Leadership. ∞ Move. Spear of Terror If play Char card in region with FSP  draw Char (not cumulative with Palantír of Orthanc). Muster If FSP not at free FP Stronghold  WK CoR to FSP. No FP politics change.
● He Sees, He Knows (WK CoR Ability) When the FSP declares (but not reveals) into a region that is not an unconquered FP Stronghold, may move WK CoR to the region containing the FSP.
Saruman Corrupted Wizard 1 Leadership (only for attacks into and out of Orthanc). 0 Move (cannot leave Orthanc). + AD for Saruman. Muster if Isengard At War  Saruman to Orthanc. Also activates the Voice of Saruman ability 
● Isengard Elites [6 units] 1 Leadership or 0 Leadership if Saruman not in play. Move as normal army units. Voice of Saruman (if Saruman in play) Muster  upgrade 2 units at Orthanc, or +1 regular to each free Isengard settlement.
Mouth Lieutenant of Barad-dûr 2 Leadership. 3 Move. May use 1 Muster die as an Army die each turn. + AD for Mouth (either form). Muster if FSP in Mordor or all FP Nations At War  Mouth to Sauron Stronghold. .........

Mouth Black Númenórean 2 Leadership. 3 Move. If with Army, once per turn, may use 1 Muster die as if it was a Char die only on the Army with him. Muster if FSP in Mordor or FP has 1 or more VPs  Mouth to Sauron Stronghold.
● Evil Knowledge (Mouth Black Númenórean Ability) Extend siege for Army with Mouth once per battle without reducing. ● Remove Gothmog Die next Recover Phase if a) WK BK in play, or b) Gothmog  used and either WK in play (p.26). ..

Gothmog Lieutenant of Morgul 1 Leadership. 3 Move. If with any Army, Muster  1 Sauron Regular or Upgrade Sauron unit. + Die Muster if Sauron At War + Minas Morgul unconquered + WK BC not in play  Minas Morgul. . .. .

Balrog Evil of the Ancient World 3 Leadership. +2 Combat die. 0 Move but then 2 when activated. + Die Muster  Moria (even if conquered) + 1 Elite or Regular (if unconquered/not besieged) + Elf/Dwarf +1 Politics.
● Fire and Shadow If the FSP is revealed or declared, and as a result moves through, to, or from a region where the Balrog is present, then a) Draw a Hunt tile, b) Ignore Reveal icons, c) If an Eye tile, eliminate both the Balrog and the Guide.
● Activate Balrog (allows Balrog to move out of Moria) when Use Balrog die result is used or A Balrog is Come! card. Further Use Balrog die results can move the Balrog alone or with an Army, or attack with an Army containing the Balrog.
● Deactivate Balrog by using a Will of the West die result or if Gandalf is in the same region as the Balrog using a Character die. Deactivation eliminates the Balrog unless it is in Moria where it will revert to Level 0 and be immobile again.
WoMe Dead Men Strider/Aragorn in/next to Erech, Eagles/Spiders FSP not in Rivendell (or Eagles if Gandalf the White), Ents Saruman in play + Companion in Fangorn, Corsairs Southrons & Easterlings At War, Dunlendings Saruman in play.
