These are all of your assignments for the eLearning days for this week. Each teacher has given
assignments that need to be completed each e-learning day. Try to complete your assignments each day so that
you don’t fall behind! ​All assignments are due by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27. ​ Please be sure to do all
of the work that is listed.
Remember: You must be logged into your OWN Google account in order to open Google
Classroom! It would be helpful if you would get in the habit of checking your school email each morning.

Reading/Writing/Social Studies
For the next few weeks, we are going to work on Famous Hoosier reports. Since we can’t do our traditional
wax museum, we are going to do it virtually! For the next three weeks, you will be gathering research, writing
a speech, and putting together a costume. You will be making a video during the third week.
This will count as your work for reading, writing and social studies, so it is important to put forth your
best effort.
All assignments are in the E-Learning Google Classroom!

Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 23 - Research

1. Open the Famous Hoosier Sign-up sheet and choose the person you would like to research. Add your
first and last name to the sheet.
2. Open the Google doc Famous Hoosier Research and start adding information. You will need to use
the Internet to find the information. All research needs to be finished this week. You are NOT writing
the report yet.
3. Start thinking about a costume!

Science
Go to your Google Classroom for science. You will have a link to a formative about humans and the
environment. You will also continue to learn about topographic maps on IXL. Be sure to answer the questions
from Smokey Bear to get full credit for the assignment. Be sure to read the whole assignment in Google
Classroom.
