SECTION A - (READING)

Q1. Read the following passage and answer the questions that follows:

My father had a weakness for unusual pets. He bought Lolo from a street
entertainer for fifty rupees. The man had four monkeys. Lolo was the tiniest,
but the naughtiest of them all. She hated being tied up. So father decided to
buy her and let her loose in the house. And what do you think Lolo did all
day? She woke up with the sun each morning and screeched outside our
doors, scolding us for sleeping so late! Since I was the youngest in the family,
Lolo was at her naughtiest with me. If she found me reading a book, she
would jump upon me from wherever, and snatch it away. Not satisfied with
that, she would turn the house upside down and stole bananas from the
kitchen whenever she could. She teased our gentle dog Snowy till he gave up
and retired under the bed.
