С утра, как только мы открываем глаза, глаза
начинают собирать информацию и отсылают
ее для расшифровки в мозг. Глаза - это
чрезвычайно чувствительный и сложный
прибор.
Работа глаза напоминает работу фотоаппарата.
Через зрачок свет попадает внутрь глаза. Свет
проходит через хрусталик (за зрачком) и
преломляется на сетчатке глаза. Она
преобразует изображение в нервные
импульсы, которые потом передаются в
головной мозг, где вся информация о свете и
форме обрабатывается. Сетчатка содержит
миллионы специальных светочувствительных
клеток, которые называются палочками и
колбочками. Палочки чувствительны к свету, а
благодаря колбочкам мы различаем цвета и
мелкие детали.
Брови, ресницы и веки защищают глаза от
пыли. Ресницы задерживают пылинки,
которые могут попасть в глаза. А веки – это
своеобразные занавески из складок кожи,
которые поднимаются и опускаются с
помощью мышц.
В глазу есть особая железа– слѐзная железа.
При моргании веко открывает слѐзную железу,
тем самым промывая глаз.
Цвет глаза зависит от содержания в радужке
меланина. Карий цвет глаз – наиболее
распространенный в мире. Самый редкий цвет
глаз – голубой.
Eyes
In the morning, as soon as we open our
eyes, the eyes begin to collect information
and send it to the brain for decoding. The
eyes are an extremely sensitive and complex
device.
The operation of the eye resembles the
operation of a camera. Light enters the eye
through the pupil. Light passes through the
lens (behind the pupil) and is refracted on
the retina. It converts the image into nerve
impulses, which are then transmitted to the
brain, where all information about light and
shape is processed. The retina contains
millions of special light-sensitive cells
called rods and cones. Sticks are sensitive to
light, and thanks to cones, we can
distinguish colors and small details.
Eyebrows, lashes and eyelids protect the
eyes from dust. Lashes hold up dust
particles that can get into the eyes. And the
eyelids are a kind of curtain made of skin
folds that rise and fall with the help of
muscles.
There is a special gland in the eye– the
lacrimal gland. When you blink, the eyelid
opens the lacrimal gland, thereby washing
the eye.
The color of the eye depends on the content
of melanin in the iris. Brown eye color is
the most common in the world. The rarest
eye color is blue.
