EASY QUEUED 101: Making the Most Out of Enhanced

Community Quarantine

KEY VERSE: Acts 28:17 & 30-31

17 After three days he called together the local leaders of the Jews, and when they had
gathered, he said to them, "Brothers, though I had done nothing against our people or
the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the
hands of the Romans. 30 He lived there two whole years at his own expense, and
welcomed all who came to him, 31 proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about
the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.

INTRODUCTION
One of millennial’s pet peeves is a plan that turns out to be a “drawing.” Nakakainis ang
mga pagkakataong magpapakaeffort kang magplano and at the end of the day, ni isa sa
mga plano mo eh walang natupad. This is exactly what we are experiencing right now.
Yung nagpakabida bida ka sa creative shot mo and it turns out wala palang graduation.
Nagtipid ka ng malupit para paghandaan yung out of town mo and it turns out cancelled
ang vacation mo. Walang work means walang income, walang gala means walang
ganap, and the worst is yung iba walang makain.
buhay. The same feeling was also felt and experienced by Apostle Paul when he
suffered house arrest in Rome for two years. Paul made the most out of his house
arrest because he viewed those times as a season to:

1.) EXECUTE YOUR VISION

The first reaction of a man who is imprisoned is to be dismayed, lose passion and give
everything up. But that is not the case with Paul. Paul never lose track of his purpose
and God given goals. In those years, he wrote four letters i.e. Ephesians, Philippians,
Colossians, and Philemon. He even proclaimed the gospel to everyone he came contact
with. It is clear to Paul what his vision is (Insert verse).

God gave us a Word, a promise to hold on to that will be fulfilled this year. We set our
goals in line with it.
nating gawin. Hindi ibig sabihin walang deadline, walang pasok, walang work, walang
ministry ay wala ka na ding gagawin. We must evaluate ourselves and ask: A month has
already passed, what do you accomplish? Accomplish?
Then what does it have to do with your vision and goal? It is not too late. This is your
appointed time to grow and flourish!
study. Wag mo sabihing wala kang magawa dahil napakadaming pwedeng gawin. You
can even develop a new skill or learn a new language. This is not the time to wait for
nothing but this is a time to make it happen. This is the time kung saan matetest kung
Luther King Jr., If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then
crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward. DO NOT WASTE YOUR
TIME BUT WORK WITH THE TIME GOD HAS GIVEN YOU.

You can make the most out of ECQ by viewing this time as a season to:
2.) CULTIVATE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS

Instead, he work
out his relationship to those around him. Sabi sa Acts 28:30, “He lived there two whole
years at his own expense, and WELCOMED ALL WHO CAME TO HIM.” Paul cherished
his relationships. He even wrote letters to churches he went just to get in touch with
them. This is also the time to build your relationships. You have so much time to spend
with your family. Why not
reach them out?
By that way, we are not just building our relationship with them, but we are
also winning them to Christ.
Most of us, busy
sa work, sa studies and even sa ministry na wala na tayong time para sa sarili nating
pamilya. This is the time para bumawi tayo sa kanila. CHOOSE TO ENGAGE AND
CONNECT. Relationships take time and effort, and the best way to spell love is "T-I-M-
You can also keep
You can also keep
in touch with your friends through social platforms like zoom and facetime. The point is,
we must cultivate relationships dahil sabi nga ni Rick Warren, ang pinaka mahalagang

Lastly, you can make the most out of ECQ by viewing this time as a season to:
3.) QUICKEN YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE

While imprisoned, Paul always make mention in his letter on how he prayed for believers
in churches throughout Asia and Europe. In Colossians 1:9, He mentioned how he
prayed unceasingly for the Colossian believers, “For this reason, since the day we
heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill
you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the
Spirit gives.” Paul knew that he is not alone in his imprisonment. He knew that God is by
his side. He never took granted the Presence of God in his life. In the same way, during
these times, we ought to make sure that we are not spiritually asleep. Aminin natin sa
hindi, nung nagkaroon ng COVID pandemic, we prayed in one way or another. Yung mga
walang prayer life, napapray. This is the perfect time to spend our time with God. God is
bringing His people back to Him. If we will not prepare ourselves spiritually, we will be
caught up by the circumstances around us. Spend more time in prayer, kung kaya, you
can do Bible shredding. That is reading the Bible in 30 days. Train your spiritual senses
to hear more from God. Imagine, God stopped everything just for you to talk to Him.
Why? Because He wants you badly. Quickening your spiritual life is not a burden, rather
a delight of nurturing a loving relationship with God.

IN CONCLUSION:
Paul put it thus way in Romans 13: 11-14 (The Passion Translation):
11 To live like this is all the more urgent, for time is running out and you know it is a
strategic hour in human history. It is time for us to wake up! For our full salvation is
nearer now than when we first believed. 12 Night’s darkness is dissolving away as a new
day of destiny dawns. So we must once and for all strip away what is done in the
shadows of darkness, removing it like filthy clothes. And once and for all we clothe
ourselves with the radiance of light as our weapon. 13 We must live honorably,
surrounded by the light of this new day, not in the darkness of drunkenness and
debauchery, not in promiscuity and sensuality, not being argumentative or jealous of
others. 14 Instead fully immerse yourselves into the Lord Jesus, the Anointed One,
and don’t waste even a moment’s thought on your former identity to awaken its
selfish desires.

Through ECQ, may we remember that this is a season to

E-xecute your vision
C-cultivate your relationships
Q-uicken your spiritual life

Moreover, this would only happen if we will fully immerse yourselves into the Lord
Jesus, the Anointed One, and don’t waste even a moment’s thought on your former
identity to awaken its selfish desires.
