SUMMARY
Graduating Mass Communications/Journalism senior seeking an entry level position with a
publication or organization looking for a unique perspective and a sharp, clear voice on social
topics and current events. Willing to explore any opportunity that will enable me to leverage my
experience and education and learn the business of Journalism/Mass Communication from the

EXPERIENCE
Editor of the Springhillian: Mobile, Alabama-January 2020-May 2020
I had the honor of being chosen by my Communication Arts professors to be the editor of our
school’s newspaper, ​The Springhillian​. As the editor, I help to put the finishing touches on the
photos and articles that lower division Journalism students submit. In addition to this, I work
closely with the graphic design director in putting pages together in a way that is visually
appealing to our audience.

Internship with Mobile Bay Magazine: Mobile, Alabama-August 2019-December 2019

As an intern at Mobile Bay Magazine, I contributed content for magazine articles and columns
such as the 50 Best Restaurants and the Odds and Ends columns. In addition, I supported the
magazine staff by running errands, editing and performing other duties such as painting
backdrops for photoshoots, transcribing, and various computer related activities.

Orangetheory Fitness: Mobile, Alabama-September 2018- September 2019.

As a Sales Associate at Orangetheory Fitness, Mobile. My job was to connect with people
online and through phone calls and facilitate a studio tour and introductory fitness class. Upon
scheduling their class, I personally talk with them, introduce them to our business, and
encourage them to become a member.

Internship with Bologna Press Newspaper: Bologna, Italy-January 2019-March 2019

During the spring semester of my Junior year, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Bologna,
Italy and was able to acquire an internship in the city with a local, English language newspaper.
My job was to provide the editor with stories throughout the semester about any topic that was
interesting to me as well as relevant to Bologna as a community.
Utopia Boutique; Orange Beach, AL – Summer 2019
Responsible for making sure the store was clean and efficient for shoppers. I also help set up
dressing rooms and get clothes for customers whenever needed as well as checking them out
at the register and reconciling the receipts at the end of each shift.
