SP3 QC – Emily Griffin

Overview

Looking at Emily s overview, it looks as if there is an event happening on a yacht. It

looks fancier, so a formal event is going to happen is to be assumed. Having an image of the

yacht to where Emily wants to hold the banquet is a great idea. It gives the viewer a bigger

understanding on the project. Showing an event, in a more formal setting, for the inside was a

key point as well, since she sated earlier that she wanted to have the banquet be fancy.

The smaller designs on the second page also gives it an appeasing visual instead of

having only writing. One thing I will state, is that the small doodle of the waves seems to have

some sort of watermark to it. It would be best to fix that or keep an eye out for it for printing

purposes. Some of the photos also seem a little fuzzy or out of focus, but that could just be the

download. The color scheme, black and yellow, is also a little confusing for me. Choosing

those colors can be eye-popping, but why those colors specifically? While that be the color

scheme of the banquet? If not maybe change the colors of the overview to those that would be

decorated around the banquet.

From just observing the overview without reading anything, I would assume that

someone was holding an event on a yacht. I would be too sure what kind of event, but it seems

to be a more formal one.

The title of the overview is Senior Banquet. Since Emily s project is to hold the Senior

banquet, I think the title seems to fir the project.

The text explains more into the project. Emily has her mission statement, learning stretch,

fundraising examples, and her goals for the project included on her overview. Some of the goals

that she listed include host the event on a yacht, making the event a memorable night, and make

all the participants feel included. Adding examples of what possible other fundraisers she could

hold might also be something Emily could add.

Some benefits for this event are making sure the guest enjoy themselves as well as being

able to learn from the project. Learning more about the finance, organizing of an event,

communication, and working more on time management is what Emily would hopefully get out

of this as a learning experience.

The overview does do a great job explaining the project. There are some small fixes here

and there to work on, but otherwise I think this is a pretty good overview.
