Day #2: Swim Practice

Before:

• About 7 weeks after the injury

During:

• Swimming was still tiring for me. I wasn’t as fast as I usually was because I was out of

shape, but for some reason my water polo coach did not realize this and tried to keep me

going on my normal fast paces. Let’s just say I didn’t make a single one of the swim sets

and I got yelled at for it.

• When the water polo portion came up, once again I was hit with the pain of shot

blocking, physical contact, and moving my arms in a fast motion.

• This second practice was by far easier than the first one though and the pain while doing

said drills and swim sets had decreased. The only issue I still face is the fact that intense

throbbing still happens when I swim for long periods of time.
