 “My opinion on whether women should work during night shifts in the current
scenario where crimes and health issues against women are at its peak is against the
topic. I personally feel that women’s safety is a matter of utmost concern at present.
We should not be ignorant about the fact that there is a drastic increase in the rate of
crimes, and we need to protect ourselves against them. With a fear of security of the
females going out for work, the families couldn’t live a relaxing life.”
 “Government has very correctly come up with the point of transportation of the
working class in the factories, which would be public transport by default. We have
already visualized the rape and sexual assault cases during the late-night hours in the
public transport, which highly alerts the women folk. And this facility is mainly
accepted by big companies. They can easily arrange cabs to drop women employees
at their home, small scale industries and companies may not be able to do so very
easily. This in turn might turn to be way too risky for female employees.”
 “Women also get afflicted by health concerns more as compared to men by working
in the night shifts for prolonged period. According to the research women working in
night shifts have a 48% increased risk of developing breast cancer. Also leads to high
risk of anxiety and hypertension.”
 “Women have the dual responsibility of taking care of the house as well as the
professional life. A balance becomes very difficult during night shifts especially for
the married women.”
 “Children at home demand the attention and care of mother at night, who would be
deprived of their basic emotional instinct by the night shifts of women.”
