 INTRODUCTION
The hospital is defined as the space in
which all kinds of health-related servi-
ces are developed. It is a company or
business area that has hospital care as
its essence and is intended to alleviate
suffering, preserve health and life. A
hospital seeks the maximum well-being
of the patient through actions that are
its responsibility, and which must also
be well organized and managed for the
hospital to be successful. Hospital ad-
ministration is a health specialty focu-
sed on the autonomy of management of
hospital services and institutions. It is
based on strategies to achieve a better
value for money and efforts to achieve
efficiencies, effectiveness and effi-
ciency in hospital services. For a hospi-
tal to function properly, it is necessary
to have several employees, in this ca-
se, nurses who provide quality care. In
this brochure I will explain the rights
and responsibilities of nurses, and acti-
vities that should not be carried out
within the workplace, as well as the res-
ponsibilities of the hospital employer.
Finally I will explain some characteris-
tics of the hospital.
8 RESPONSIBILITIES OF
THE EMPLOYEE

1.-The employer must treat the worker equally,
considering their origin, beliefs, gender or age.
2.-The employer have to guarantee the safety
and health of the worker.
3.-The employer should provide the nurses with
a floor manager who will grant each one the job
roles in each area.
4.- The employer ought to provide each emplo-
yee with a workplace free of risks that can cause
death or serious physical damage.
5.-The employer has to provide personal protec-
tive equipment to employees when they require
it.
6.-The employer must grant to each employee
the hospital rest days with salary, in case of any
medical emergency
7.-The employer have to implement all the
hygiene and safety measures at work.
8.- The employer should give an employee the
opportunity to
file a complaint whenever you want.
