 ENVIRONMENTAL CRISIS AND SUSTAINABLE
DEVELOPMENT
In our report, we’ve discussed everything about environmental problems including its
causes and effects. On the first part, we’ve shared our thoughts about our topic and then we gave
a simple explanation that environmental crisis is basically the problems that exist in our
environment and all the things that affects it. We also introduced that the problems in our
environment does not only affects the environment itself but out of many people’s mind, it
greatly affects us making the quality of life and the period of human life decline. We then shared
the scenario written in our book, which describes the everyday life of an individual, recognizing
and realizing what has human doings brought in our nature and environment. We also discussed
the world’s leading environmental problems from the Conserve Energy Future website which
includes:

1. Depredation and defiling of the sea

2. Changes in global weather patterns
3. Overpopulation
4. Exhaustion of non-renewable resources
5. Waste disposal catastrophe
6. Destruction of million year-old ecosystems and loss of biodiversity
7. Reduction of oxygen 
8. Depletion of ozone layer
9. Deadly acid rain
10. Rise of water pollution
11. Urban sprawls
12. Threat to public health
13. Radical alteration of food system
