Blues Shuffle, Key of G: Solo

Laying down the rhythm parts for this groove gave me all sorts of ideas of what I'd
play as a soloist.
The thumping of the first chorus sounded to me like a '60s thing, so I loaded up on
the Chuck Berry double-stops and straight 8ths. Felt just right to me. Hope it
worked for you too.
When the change in the rhythm feel came around in the second chorus, I had to tune
in to the rhythm section again and consider a new approach - definitely a mellower
feel, which inspired a patient, more low-key approach.
When the break chorus hit, everything changed yet again. I could respond to all
that space with busy parts or with really minimal parts. There was also room to
bring that Chuck Berry thing back around, which rounded out the solo nicely and let
me finish the "story" appropriately.
