FOREWORD

First of all I would like to praise the presence of God Almighty, because
he had mercy and grace and health to k a noodle , so as to complete the task
"CRITICAL BOOK Report ". This task is made for meet one of the
subjects we namely " English For Physics "
The task of this critical book review was prepared in the hope that it would
increase our knowledge and insight . We realize that the critical task of book
reviews are still far from perfection, when in this task there are many
shortcomings and mistakes, we apologize because real knowledge and
understanding we are still limited, because the limited knowledge and
understanding we are not the worst.
We therefore look forward to suggestions and criticisms from readers who
are constructive in order to perfect this task. We hope that the critical task of re
book ports can helpful for the reader and for k a noodle particular. For your
attention we say thank you.

CHAPTER I
PRELIMINARY

1.1. Rationalization of the Importance of CBR

The skill to make CBR on the writer can test the ability to summarize and
analyze a book and compare books analyzed with other books, recognize and give
value and criticize a paper that is analyzed
Often we are confused choosing a reference book for us to read and
understand, sometimes we only choose one book to read but the results are still
unsatisfactory for example in terms of language analysis and discussion, therefore
the author makes CBR this physics measurement tool to facilitate readers in
choosing reference books especially on the subject matter of physics measurement
and measurement .

1.2. Purpose of CBR Writing
The benefits of writing this cbr are:
1. The fulfillment of the main tasks of the eyes of the
porters a h measuring instrument physics .
2. Add more critical and analytical thinking skills.
3. Increase interest in reading carefully.
4. Strengthen curiosity about one's work.
1.3. Benefits of CBR
The benefits we can derive the above items are: .
1. Facilitate the reader to get the core of a book that has been
equipped with a book summary, discussion of the contents of the
book, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the book
2. Train students to formulate and draw conclusions on the analyzed
books.

2.2 SUMMARY OF CONTENTS OF THE BOOK
a. Work done by a constant force
The work done on an object by a constant force (constant in terms
of magnitude and direction) is defined as the product of the magnitude of
the displacement with the force component being parallel to the
displacement. on an object that works in a force F in a constant form, the
object moves straight in the direction of the force. So that it can form a
scalar multiplication. In the form of an equation can be written
W = F lld

2
b. Work done by irregular style
When a force acting on an object causes the displacement of the
object to produce work equal to Dw = f → . dr →. this is the price dr small
enough so that the shift F is considered permanent. But if the shift is large
enough, then the magnitude and direction of the force F will change. To
determine the amount of work done by force, the total shift is divided into

small intervals  so that in each interval the force F can be

considered fixed.
The change in style with time is generally caused by a change in
speed with time, or in other words because the object is accelerating. In
the form of an equation can be written with
W =∫ f ( t)dx
c. Kinetic energy and energy working principle
Energy is an eternal quantity, can change shape and can move from
one system to another. However, the total amount is fixed. Energy cannot
be formed from zero and cannot be destroyed, it's just that we can change
the form of energy or move the form of energy. Each particular type of
energy can be defined simply. The most important aspect of all types of
energy is that with the previous amount, total energy, remains the same
after any process so that energy is an eternal quantity.
Motion energy is called kinetic energy, from the  reek kinektikos,
which means "motion". Kinetic energy is formulated with
1
EK = mv 2
2
Kinetic energy will do work, move some energy to other objects,
and cause other objects to move. So we can conclude that kinetic energy
states the ability to do work because of its motion.
d. Potential energy
Potential energy is the energy possessed by objects because of their
position or position. Understanding the potential energy can only be
associated with certain types of forces called conservative forces. Potential

3
energy is energy that is associated with forces that depend on the position
or configuration of objects and their environment. Different types of
potential energy can be defined and each type associated with a particular
force. The potential energy of an object fulfills the equation
Ep=m. g . h
e. Mechanical energy and eternity
If only conservative forces work on all systems, we come to a very
simple and beautiful relationship that involves energy. If there are no non-
conservative forces then W  = 0 so that it is obtained
NC

∆ EK + ∆ EP =0
atau
EK 2- EK 1
f. Kinetic energy
The work done on the resultant in objects removes energy
from the force of the object's force. As a result, there was a change

1
in magnitude  mv2 . This change must be an increase or decrease

2
in the energy of matter, because work is an energy transfer. It is

1
clear that  mv  is an energy, that is a form related to

1
motion. Then  mv  called kinetic energy or motion energy. It can
2 is

2
be said that kinetic energy states the ability to do because of its
motion.

g. Total energy
total energy that is the sum of kinetic, potential energies,
heat energy daaction - other interactions of energy in the form of
action of energy - energy in other forms of an object is
unchanged. Energy can be formed from zero. Or destroyed. Energy

4
is fixed. Often in the history of physics this principle seems to
fail. However, experimental scholars look for symptoms in
addition to symptoms that arise with the styles of interactions
between two objects. Such symptoms can always be found. By
working against friction heat arises in the interaction between two
objects. Kinetic energy plus potential energy is conserved if the
object only works conservative forces. Total energy is always
conserved.

h. Power
Power is defined as the speed at which work is carried out
divided by the time to do it or the speed at which energy
changes. Power is also defined as the speed of doing business
or time unit effort.
W
P=
t
Average power done by an object is the total work done on
the object divided by the total time used to do work.

CHAPTER IV
COVER
4.1 CONCLUSION

Business is the product of the force acting with the displacement

experienced by objects. The business unit in SI is joules. Energy states the
ability to do business. The energy possessed by moving objects is called
kinetic energy, while the energy possessed by objects due to their position
is called potential energy.

4.2. Suggestion
The author's suggestion to the reader hopefully this critical book
report can be useful for you, by reading this critical book report we will be
motivated and understand in making a critical. The author really expects
criticism and supportive suggestions from the reader. The author is very
aware of this critical book report there are still many mistakes in making.
Sorry if in making this critical book report there are errors found by
readers both in terms of writing, use of language, etc. For that reason the
authors apologize because the authors are very aware that every
human being is not perfect.
