Figure 1. Map from the satellites on the location of the Multipurpose Hall
From the map, it is shown that the hall was surround with housing area and
university area. Here some description about the construction company of this project.
Kimlun Sdn Bhd (“KLSB”) was incorporated in Malaysia on 21 October 1977 as a
private limited company under the name of Kimlun Earthworks Sdn Bhd. Subsequently,
on 22 October 1994, the company changed its name to Kimlun Sdn Bhd. KLSB has
expand its business from being involved in building construction and infrastructure
projects to an engineering and construction service provider. KLSB is currently involved
in larger scale building and infrastructure construction projects in Johor Bahru and the
Klang Valley, either as main contractor or sub-contractor, or teams up with public listed
companies, government-linked corporations or other main contractors, to secure projects
by participating in open tenders or invitations from the customers to tender for projects.
For the purpose of studies, we then calculate the total fomrwork from this engineering
drawing. The calculation of formwork is very important because it is a benchmark for
any structural design for it to have adequate strenght to resist failure and will not deflect
easily when the forms are filled.
This building is designed as “Rumah Sukan”, for sports purposes. This building structure
is made up of concrete and steel. The shape, plan view and detailing are shown in the
both architecture and structural drawings obtained from the company. This building is a
closed structure because it is surrounded by brick walls. All designs are referring to the
respective standards and specifications, for example, MS 544: Part 2: 2001. The plan
view and detailing of the drawings, detailing of design and part of references are included
in the appendix.
2.1 OBJECTIVE

project by using Gantt chart method and Arrow on node (AON) to identify the critical
