Supplies
(for a bracelet of 21cm length, including the clasp)
4g Miyuki drops 3,4mm (drop)
9g seed beads size 8° color A (8A)
5g seed beads size 8° color A (8B)
1 magnetic clasp 10mm
beading thread (FireLine 0,12mm or Miyuki Beading Thread)
beadng needle size 11
Introduction
The pattern includes Double CRAW and CRAW (cubic right angle wea-
ve). To mount the clasp at the ends, you have to add another DCRAW
cube. You have to calculate that into the total length. The bracelet shown
here has 16 DCRAW cubes, alternating with CRAW units.
Step 1
String four 8A and make a ring. Leave a
tail of one ft (30cm) to attach the clasp
later.. Reinforce the beads to fix the
clasp.
Step 2
String one 8B and pass through the
following 8A. Repeat 3 more times. Exit
from the first 8B added in this step. This
is the floor of your first DCRAW cube.
Step 3
String four 8A and pass again through
the 8B you exited from. Pass into the
first 8A added in this step.
Step 5
For the second wall, string four 8A and pass
again through the 8B you exited from. Pass
into the first 8A added in this step.
Step 6
String one drop and pass through the
following 8A. String one 8B and pass
through the following 8A. Now pass top
down (down is the direction of the floor of
the cube) through the drop of the previous
wall and from there through the last 8A of
your new wall. Then weave through the 8B,
A, B of thee floor. Make sure your drop is
heading to the outside.
Step 7
Make the third wall just like the
second (steps 5 and 6).
Step 9
Pass through the drop of the first
wall (bottom up, in relation to the
floor) and from there into the next
8A of the actual wall. String one
8B and pass through the following
8A. Pass through the drop of the
previous wall (top down) and from
there into the last 8A of the actual
wall. We finished the 4 walls around the floor. Exit
from one 8A at the top round.
Step 10
String four 8A and pass again through the 8B you
exited from. Exit from the first 8A added in this step.
Step 11
Pass through the 8B of the adjacent
wall and from there into the next
8A of the actual wall. Repeat 2 more
times to connect your lid to all the
four 8B of the four walls.
Step 13
String one 8B and one 8A and pass through the 8B
of the previous wall and the 8A you exited from. Pass
forward into the next 8A of the lid.
Step 14
Like step 13.
Step 15
Pass into the 8B of the first wall, string one 8A, pass
through the 8B of the previous wall and the 8A of the
lid. Weave forward to exit from one 8A at the top of
the CRAW unit.
Step 16
Pass once through the for 8A at the top.
Step 18
Make a DCRAW unit until all four walls are
finished. Instead of adding the lid (step 10
and 11) you exit from obne 8B at the top,
string one 8B, the loop of the clasp, one 8B,
pass through the 8B in the opposite position.
Pass back through the beads in the middle.
Reinforce the beads at least two more times.
exit from one 8B at the top of the cube.
Step 19
Exit from one 8B at the top of the last
DCRAW cube. String one drop and pass
through the next 8B. Repeat three more
times. Reinforce the beads to tighten them up
and then secure the thread.
At the other end of the bracelet, make one
more CRAW unit and then add the DCRAW
unit for the clasp.
