Foundation Overview
1.1 About Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation
Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation was founded in December 2017 as an innovative foundation
focused on sustainable and integrated waste management, the circular economy, environmental
research and development. Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation was founded on the basis of growing
market demand for the needs of innovation for circular economy (CE) and the issue of sustainable
development in particular the challenges of managing solid and liquid waste in urban, rural and
industrial areas.

Currently, Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation has a variety of expertise that is committed and
dedicated to providing consultancy services in the needs of innovation for circular economy (CE)
and zero waste. Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation through the waste management department will
also provide consultancy in the form of research, management, training, and monitoring and
evaluation services that focus on the management and utilization of solid and liquid waste that has
the potential to become renewable energy and has the impact for sustainable development goals
(SDGs).

SERVICES
Throughout the year, Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation has served some trainings and
consultations to increase the capacity of important actors in innovation, social and environmental
impacts such as:
 Study skills in waste management and renewable energy
 The latest innovation for circular economy and zero waste
 Facilitate the planning of renewable energy installations based on solid and liquid waste
 Facilitate sustainable business planning that impacts to zero waste
 Facilitation skills in building team work
 Services and management of training and thematic activities

CLIENTS
Since it was founded, we have worked together and provided services to partners from the
government of Indonesia (central) and international & local program institutions, including:
UNDP Indonesia, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia, Hivos
Indonesia, SNV Netherlands Development Organization, Biogas Rumah (Biru), Rumah Energi
Foundation, Care Indonesia, American Red Cross, Millenium Challenge Account Indonesia (MCAI),
IUWASH-USAID Indonesia.

2. Our Strategy for Project Management Process

To achieve maximum study results, Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation will implement a study
implementation strategy including:
1. Form a solid team by placing competent personnel in their fields. Considering the purpose of
this study will be the basis for strengthening CSR Forum & Public-Private Partnership for
Domestic Wastewater Development in Tasikmalaya, it is necessary for the team's ability to
extract information and primary data on the study characteristics that have been determined.
2. Determine sequential activities and implement project monitoring with project management
tools.
3. Coordinate with the SNV team regarding strategic decisions and issues that can influence the
study.
4. Using the latest waste management policies and best practices (wastewater management) and
community assistance.
5. Using online approach in collecting primary data in the field.
6. Implementing strict quality control of data and reports through the implementation of the ISO
9001: 2015 Quality Management System Selaras Hijau Indonesia Foundation.
