Registration Process
& Policies
• For CSA activities, there is no limit to the number of activities that can be registered
for.
• For EAA activities, each student can register for a first choice class only.
• Please note, while there are no limits placed on the number of activities parents
can enroll their children in, parents should recognize their children’s limitations and
potential to be overstretched. We advise limiting younger students to a few activities
per week, especially at the start of the year.
• Minimum and maximum student enrollments are listed with each class description.
• The method of payment is by Visa or Mastercard via the online registration system. In
special circumstances, payment may be made in person by check (EAA/CSA) or credit
card (CSA only), however, cash payment is greatly discouraged.
• There will be no refunds after you have paid and registered your child in a class.
• Late registrations will be accepted from September 11-15 and will incur a $50
administration fee. Class fees will not be prorated. (Contact EAA and CSA offices
for more information.)

elementary school foyer by the nurse’s office after 4:15 p.m.
• Younger siblings or undesignated adults (e.g. taxi drivers) will not be allowed to
pick up kindergarten through grade two students.
• Parents are required to notify the EAA office via eaainfo@sas.edu.sg authorizing
another adult to pick up their kindergarten through grade two children.
• It is the responsibility of the parents to contact the Yeap Bus Office at 6360 6770
to arrange for the activity bus after confirmed enrollment in an EAA class.
From the 2017-2018 school year, there will be an effort to provide students
enriching opportunities in Eagle Pathway Activities. We will endeavor to
offer a variety of these activities for all grade levels throughout the school
year, but course availability will be subject to change based on the ability
to staff them and the age appropriateness of certain activities.
All activities will be offered by either SAS faculty or external vendors. This
accounts for the difference in price of various activities.

We have adopted the Eagle Athlete Development Model as the basis for the
development of all SAS student athletes in Eagle Pathway sports. Based on the
internationally recognized Long Term Athlete Development Model, this model
identifies age-appropriate expectations for children for their participation in
athletics. In the EAA program, this will mean:
• Kindergarten to fifth-grade pathway programs will focus on structured skill
development specific to each sport they participate in.
• There will be no cuts and no ability-based sorting in fifth grade or below for
pathway sports, which means that all students who come out to play a pathway
sport will be able to participate (depending on space availability).
• Emphasize the benefits of sports seasons and encourage students to participate
in multiple activities throughout the year.
• The intention of the pathway opportunities is for as many children as
possible to try either one or both sports offered for their grade level each
season. As such, we encourage families to register for only one day of a
sport per week. However, families can choose to register for the same
sport twice a week.
