This WhatsApp policy has been design in order to keep the party operations, information in
order and to maintain discipline. This policy will work as a guideline for the groups operated
under the district. It will also ensure strict compliance to policies of the organization as well
as of the district.

4. WhatsApp Groups Posting Guidelines

1. Not more than 5 images or video of any event to be shared

2. Don’t share same images /post multiple times
3. This is strictly not a buying/ selling group so please avoid selling your products
4. Any message, call for action or notice shall be responded by “Acknowledged”. If any
group member fails to comply with a message more than 3 times he will be expelled
for the group
5. No allegation will be posted against any group member. For any allegations and
charges kindly contact the group admin. Failure to comply will result in action.
6. No religious posting
7. No ethnicity posting
8. Don’t post anything without verifying the content of the post
9. Avoid personal grudges within the party /outside
10. Avoid abusive language
11. In case a group member wants to make any announcement. He or she may contact
the group admin and share the announcement. The group admin will issue an
announcement on behalf of that member. Failure to comply will result in the
disposition of group members.
12. Groups are for collaboration not for complaints. In case of complains kindly send
private message
13. In case of any issue/concern with anyone in the group/party avoid conflict in the
group, resolve the issues in private
5. Penalization on violating WhatsApp Groups Policy and WhatsApp Posting
Guidelines
5.1 Below mention is the chart for the penalization for violating WhatsApp posting
guidelines

11 In case a group member wants to Removed for 24 Hours, Incase of same violation
make any announcement. He or repeated twice admin can remove permanently,
she may contact the group admin a written apology will be required in order to give
and share the announcement. him/her another chance.

12 Groups are for collaboration not Removed for 24 Hours, Incase of same violation
for complaints. In case of repeated twice admin can remove permanently,
complains kindly use private a written apology will be required in order to give
message to town officials him/her another chance.

13 In case of any issue/concern with Removed for 24 Hours, Incase of same violation
anyone in the group/party avoid repeated twice admin can remove permanently,
conflict in the group, resolve the a written apology will be required in order to give
issues in private him/her another chance.
5.2 Despite all Penalization, if the matter is of very serious nature, show cause can be server
for violation

5.3 Admin of the groups have the right to change the group settings to Admin only if
required, like things are going in the conflict zone

5.4 From now on no complaint on any unofficial group of WhatsApp will be entertained

6. Guidelines for Office Bearers

6.1 All Office bearers of District East should not be part of any unofficial group, that includes all
MNAs, MPAs, UC Chairmans, UC Vice Chairman, Councilor.

6.2 All Office bearers who are running the unofficial groups should be closed immediately and
become the part of official groups

7. Guidelines for the Members

7.1 All party members are directed not to be part of any unofficial group in order to maintain the
party discipline

7.2 All Party members who are running the unofficial groups should be closed immediately and
become the part of official groups

8. WhatsApp Groups Handover Process

In case of elections, or suspension of organizational structure, following measures will be taken
place:

8.1 In case of party elections , the election head for that particular constituency/District, Town, UC
may become admin of all whatsapp groups.

8.2 In case of suspension of organization for any other reasons, MPA will become admin along with
the temporary committee appointed by the party or party election cell.
* Personal Secretaries and Coordinators for the President, General Secretary, MNA, MPA, UC
Chairman, Vice Chairman and Councilor can be added in the desire group with the approval of the
District President

** Any new group for the temporary job purpose can be created with the approval of District
President Example
