INTRODUCTION
This assignment is to assess the student ability to blend the multimedia elements into a video
presentation. Upon completion of this assignment, students are expected to be able to:
explain the use of multimedia elements in delivering the information in a form of video
presentation.
apply effects to each multimedia element in the video presentation using suitable tools.
practice creativity and management skills in producing a video presentation.
ACTIVITIES
You are required to produce one short video or video montage of any interesting topic of your
own. The video should include:
videos that originally shot by yourself or from any royalty-free video that you can find in
the Internet. You can choose any video such as scenery footages, documentary-like footages
or any video of your interests. Edit the video appropriately to suit the mood of your
presentation.
sounds as a background sound or speech narration to make your video interesting. Choose
royalty-free sound from Internet or alternatively you can produce your own sounds.
texts as one of the element to deliver information on your video, like putting captions and
description of your video footages.
animations of any multimedia element such as’ flying text’, or ‘animated video movements’
etc.
images as part of the video. It is up to you how you want to blend the images in your video.
DELIVERABLES
1. A VIDEO
Your video should:
i. use all the multimedia elements as stated above.
ii. appropriately edited, added effects or modified the multimedia elements using suitable
tools.

iii. creatively blended with all the elements to be interesting and amazing as a video
presentation.
iv. be in 2-3 minutes duration only.
v. be submitted in .wav/.avi or any playable format for Windows. Submission must be via
Edmodo and uploaded in YouTube for viewing and safekeeping.
2. A REPORT
Your report should:
i. describe title of your video and justification why you choose the title.
ii. discuss what your video is all about either it is own-produced or captured from royalty-free
videos.
iii. discuss all the editing processes you performed on the elements involved in your video
production.
iv. list all the tools and software you use to produce your video, including the sources (links) of
the tools.
v. list of all the sources of your media if you are using Internet resources for the videos and
sounds clips, etc.
vi. be submitted within the due date.
