The following section includes a basic character profile template
for a large number of main and supporting characters:
Nick Mrs. Granger Mr. Allen Mrs. Allen
Mrs. Chatham Bud Lawrence Judy Morgan Blank

Teacher ideas:
•Give each student a number of templates and have them
complete the profiles individually. Have them collect them into a
booklet.
This could be done as a long-range project that the students
complete at home or you could highlight different characters
in class and do each one day by day.
•Divide the class into pairs (or groups) and assign each a
character. Then have them present their profile to the class.
Combine the character profiles into a class booklet.
•Give each student a blank character profile and have them
choose a character to write about.
