Courage

What did you learn from it?

During this pandemic, we are all afraid of what might this CoViD 19 may give us.
Everyone is hoping for this crisis to end as soon as possible and as quick as it can
be. While we are praying and hoping for this pandemic to be over.

Let us not be afraid and just believe that everything has its purpose and that God is
always ready to save and guide us.

This crisis that we face may be tough but this will also make us believe in God’s
plan and will also help us to be strong in facing difficult and tough challenges.
Verse:
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with
the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)

Believe

What did you learn from it?

I solemnly believe that whatever suffering that the world is facing right now will
soon be changed into goodness, beliefs, and faithfulness to one another which are
greater than all our problems.

In this time of crisis, the most important is to lift our sorrows and believe in God’s
plan.

There shouldn’t be a place for doubt and disbelief, because God always has a
bigger purpose for everything.
Verse:
I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the
goodness of the LORD…. Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart
take courage. (psalm 27:13-14 NASB)

Do not despair

What did you learn from it?

Oh, how great the temptation is to despair at times! Our soul becomes depressed
and disheartened, and our faith staggers under all the trials and tests that is now
coming to our lives, especially this time of bereavement and sufferings.

We may now come to a place where we almost say that “I cannot bear this any
longer”. God has told us not to despair but what are we supposed to do when we
are at this point?

This is all God asks of us as his dear child. When we become weak , do not try to
be strong just be still and know that he is God. Let us know that he will sustain is
and bring us through the fire. God reserves his best medicine for our times of
deepest despair. Let us be strong and take heart.
Verse:
What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s
faithfulness? (Romans 3:13)

Faith

What did you learn from it?

I always thought that the sources of sorrow in life came from a simple unbelief.
With this pandemic that is happening all over the world, a lot of people are losing
faith and are afraid of what danger this pandemic might actually bring.

But I believe what Jesus Christ once taught us on a prayer, “If only one believer
with total faith rises up, the history of the world will be changed.”

I want to be the one to rise up and submit myself to the sovereignty and guidance
of God our father.
Verse:
Whether you turn to right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice
behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Be calm

What did you learn from it?

When we have our doubts and we are facing difficulties, when there are others that
suggest conflicting actions, when caution dictates one approach but faith another,
we should be still. We should avoid and quiet each intruding person, calm
ourselves in God’s presence, study his word for guidance and with devotion, focus
our attention on him.

We should have the eagerness to know only God our lord will determine for us. All
this will soon be our unsurpassed Gift. It will be a heavenly experience, a precious
eternal village, and the rich reward for the long hours of waiting.
Verse:
You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from
above. (John 19:11)

obey

What did you learn from it?

Nothing that's a part of God’s will is allowed to come back into the lifetime of
someone who trusts and obeys him. This trust should be enough to make our life n
endless thanksgiving and joy, because God’s will is the most hopeful, pleasant, and
glorious thing in the world.

Isn’t it glorious to know that no matter how unjust something may be, even when it
seems to have come from Satan himself, by the time it reaches us it is God’s will
for us and will ultimately look to our Good.

The best thing to always to do is to follow his will and obey his order.
Verse:
Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about
justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep
putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. (Like
18:6-8)

In God’s right time

What did you learn from it?

God’s timing is not ours to command. If we do not start the fire with the first strike
of our match, we must always try again. Let us not give up if we failed on our first
try. God does hear our prayer, but he may not answer it at the précis time we have
expected in our minds. Instead he will reveal himself in our seeking hearts, though
not necessarily when and where we may expect.

Therefore we need perseverance and steadfast determination in our daily prayer.

Ask in faith without wavering, but never stop believing in God just because he has
delayed his reply.
Verse:
You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with
water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink. This is an easy
thing in the eyes of the LORD; he will also hand Maob over to you. (2Kings
3:17-18)

God’s Promise

What did you learn from it?

Base from human’s belief, what God is promising may seem simply impossible.
But I believe that nothing is too difficult for him. Our belief always desires some
outward sign, and the faith of many people is largely based on things that they only
see.

They are not convinced on the genuineness of God’s promises without seeing it
through their eyes. But the greatest conquest of a person’s faith is to be still and
know that he is God.

“Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.” (Ex.
14:13)
