Hum Network Limited

Introduction

Sultana Siddiqui and Duraid Qureshi founded it. It is owned by Hum Network Limited
(KSE:HUMNL). Hum Network Limited was known as Eye Television Network Limited prior to
21 January 2011. Hum TV began its transmission on 17 January 2005. In March 2013, Hum
Network held its first Hum Awards ceremony. As of 1 May 2018 Hum TV shut down its SD
feed and is only is available in HD in Pakistan.

Humsay

Humsay is a bi-monthly English online media magazine of Pakistan based in Karachi. It was

first published in September 2007 from Karachi. The magazine covers the news about fashion,
film and television industry. It is owned by the network company Hum Network Limited.

Online Retailer

HumMart

HumMart is a variant of the bigger Hum Network Limited based currently in Karachi, Pakistan.
It is an online retailer, focusing on grocery shopping and providing its users with home delivery
of online placed order. HumMart was launched on April 20, 2018 by Mr Malik Faisal Qayyum
and Mr Duraid Qureshi.

Current programs

Hum TV's programming consists mainly of youth-centric programming like 

Malaal-e-Yaar, Ishq Zahe Naseeb, Jo Tou Chahey, and other serials. The channel has been
known for programming like Suno Chanda, Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Aahista
Aahista, Digest Writer, O Rangreza, Daldal, Dastaan, Baandhi, Ishq Tamasha and more.

Production House

MD Productions

The network television serials are primarily produced under production company Momina
Duraid Productions, owned by Momina Duraid who is also a senior producer at channel.

Moomal Entertainment

The other Hum TV shows are being produced by Moomal Entertainment owned by Moomal
Shunaid, wife of Siddiqui's eldest son Shunaid Siddiqui. Moomal Entertainment was founded in
2014.

Market

No doubt, Hum tv network is a strong network with a large market share but there are some other
networks are also contributing and having market shares in which the major one is ARY
networks so hum tv network exist in a competitive market.
