SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES BETWEEN TRANSPORT IN BRITAIN AND BOSNIA

Everybody have transport problems. We have transport problems in Bosnia too. Transport in Bosnia is
very similar with transport in Britain, but also there are a lot of differences between those two transports.

In Britain, they have some type of transport which is popular only in them country. For example, they
have black London cab. Cab drivers have 18 months to learning all about Londons streets. In our country,
we have not something like this. In our country, motorists drive on the right. In Britain, motorist drive on
the left, but they have some streets in London where you have to drive on the right. Similarities between
Britain and Bosnia are transport problems, like traffic jams, lack of motorways, delays etc. We have a lot of
cars here, and they too. In Britain they have cycling and walking holidays, which are very good ways of
getting around the country. We have not a lot of cyclists here. In Kakanj we have way for cyclists, but on
that way are ussually passengers. Because of that we can not organise something like getting around
Bosnia. They like relaxing, and they have narrow boats. Britain has great network of canals for narrow
boats. We could not have narrow boats for relaxing because we have a lot of problems with water
pollution. I think that one of similarities between Britain and Bosnia is that that those two country have a
lot of interesting things to see.

I hope that we will try to found sollution for our transport problems. When we found sollution for water
pollution, maybe our courty became better and most interesting.

NEWSPAPERS IN BOSNIA

In our country, newspaper are not very popular. Ussually just old people read newspaper. Younger people
use the internet to read the news.

We have three types of newspapers: quality newspaper, popular newspaper and local newspaper. The
popular newspaper are the bestseller newspaper here. We have a lot of newspapers here, but i know just
few. Quality newspaper which people here read are for example slobodna bosna, oslobodenje, dnevni avaz,
etc. I think that people here are not interested for politic, and they do not like quality newspaper. The most
popular newspaper here is azra. I know just one popular newspaper. There is a lot of stories about famous
people, or something similar. And at the end, we have local newspaper. In this newspaper we can find
activites that happend on some special place, for example one city. In Kakanj we have just one local
newspaper. It is kakanjske novine. People like it because they know persons who are in newspaper.

I think that for 10 years we will not have newspaper in Bosnia. We will read newspaper just from the
internet.
