lectures are the most valuable. No one is going to make sure your presence in the
lecture except you. Keep on track and have yourself devoted to your aim. Overdoing

have to keep a balance. If you merely focus on your studies and push aside the extra-
curricular activities, you may not find the best outcome. A healthy mind demands a
healthy body. So, sports and extra-curricular activities are as important as studies. Even

outdoor activity.
If you are staying away from your home, you will have to polish “Domestic Skills”. You
would have to manage a clean room as well as clean clothes. You might miss your
siblings but during hostel life you will find a lot of other things to worry about. You will
hear your room mates enchanting, listening to loud music, or playing video games,
creating a noisy environment, but you have to swallow the agony disturbing you. But do
remember, you ought to find some suitable time when your room mates are not
disturbing you. You must avail such time, because “Time is Money”. This is how you can
be distinctive.
University life has “Endless Opportunities”. You can always find enough activities to
involve yourself in. If you don’t find an activity, start it yourself. It may seem a little
formidable at first, but once you take a watchful and valiant step, it would not take long
to realize that you have created an opportunity. Such an opportunity is not only meant
for you but for others too. You might not have a company, but do not let the lack of
company come in your way. Some of you might have heard, and the rest of you will hear
that getting stuck into the extra-curricular activities enhances your CV. Now having said
that, avoid joining the loads of clubs for that factor alone. Do whatever you like, rather
than following footsteps of your friends. If you are good at debating, brush up your skills
in debating. However, never overburden yourself with extra-curricular activities or it will
surely affect your GPA.

over the country. You meet a number of people which you never knew before. It can
create a continuous social whirlwind and usually takes times for you to get steady. It’s
all about making connections, getting guidance, and enhancing your skills to be able to
become a gateway of guidance for others.
