Dear Senator Bong Go,

Greetings of good health.

In the context of public safety, my present administration made it sure that our fire
station will be provided with funding allocation to enable the firemen perform their
entrusted functions and responsibilities. However, often times we are under pressure
because one of our fire trucks is always having mechanical problems due to its very old
condition. The LGU had spent much for the repair of the old fire truck unit and we are
afraid time will come sooner when the unit will no longer be functional thus impending
our service for fire safety.

We need to have a replacement of the old unit with a new one with modern
specifications to immediately respond fire incidence in Padada. However, we do not
have the capacity to acquire a new unit using our own local income. Hence, we are
requesting your good-self to help us with this concern.

The Local Government Unit of Padada is very dependent on its Internal Revenue
Allotment share and could hardly accomplish some of its priorities using its own local
income. Our town is the smallest in the Province of Davao del Sur and one of the
smallest municipalities in the whole Philippines. It has a very small area of about 4,754
hectares which means it has a very low probability to ultimately expand its land uses to
generate more income.

We are very hopeful that the good Senator will endorse this request to the appropriate
government agency offering one unit fire truck assistance to the very least LGU.
