Verse 8.3 and 8.4
Lord Krishna answers
Translation
And whoever, at the time of death,
quits his body, remembering Me
alone,at once attains My nature.
Of this there is no doubt
Verse 6
• yam yam vapi smaran bhavam, tyajaty ante kalevaram
tam tam evaiti kaunteya ,sada tad-bhava-bhavitah
Translation
• Whatever state of being one remembers
when he quits his body, that state he will
without fail.
❖ By regular practice it can be done, The mind is fickle, and therefore it is necessary to
engage the mind by force to think of Krsna.
❖ Next the process of meditating the supreme is mentioned ,one who knows everything,one
who is oldest, controller, smaller than smallest, maintainer of everything, Inconcievable, &
who is always person.
Verse 10 – 13
❖ Here process of Dhyana yoga is mentioned again,
by following sat-cakra yoga system, in sat yuga
dyana yogis use to achieve perfection.
❖ From beginning of life they were strictly trained in gurukul for celibacy (sense control),and
environment also was pure ,as compare to today. It was easy to sit at a scheluded place
meditate in mind of supreme form of lord.
❖ but in kali yuga such process for general mass of people is not possible so chanting of Hare
Krishna maha mantra is recommended, which is the easiest way for god realization.
Verse 14
I am easy to obtain for my unalloyed devotee
-He doesn’t desire anything for
personal benefit
Translation
“Although the devotees know these two paths,
O Arjuna,they are never bewildered.
Therefore always be fixed in devotion”
Verse 28
“A person who accepts the path of devotional service
is not bereft of the results derived from studying
the Vedas, performing sacrifices, undergoing austerities,
giving charity or pursuing philosophical and fruitive activities.
Simply by performing devotional service,
he attains all these, and at the end he
reaches the supreme eternal abode.”
