1. Donald Trump is taking a swim in the White House pool. He’s scuba diving 
looking for pennies at the bottom of the pool, but sees the glint of a dollar bill 
floating at the top of the pool on the stairs. He is located at <-10,20,0> and the 
stairs are at <10,30,10>. However, while swimming to the stairs, Trump passes 
out from exhaustion when he is 50% of the way there. Find the position vector 
of where he went unconscious. 

1. Air traffic control is monitoring two planes flying overhead. One plane is 50 mi 
east (x) and 100 mi north (y) of an airport at an altitude of 2 mi (z). This plane is 
flying with a heading defined by the vector h1=<1, 3, 2>. The second plane is 17 
mi east and 52 miles south of the airport at an altitude of 2.5 mi. This plane is 
flying with a heading defined by h2=<3, 4, 0>. Using the airport as the origin, 
a. Find the line vector equations of the two planes’ paths. 
b. Do these planes crash?
