I. Write a weekly journal. Create your own journal (size: ½ long bond

1. Explain briefly how you can apply the principles of economics
(Economic Thinking) in your daily life.

2. The current challenge that strike the whole world is the

uncontrollable spread of the COVID-19. It does affect the economic,
social and health of the country. What is the (a) economic and (b)
social impact of the Home Community Quarantine?

Activity for Week March 23-27, 2020

1. Causes of drug abuse and dependency was mentioned in Chapter 4, in
your own perspective what are some of the reasons why people turn into
drugs? (do not copy what is in the handouts) Cite
situational/experiences examples to justify your claims.

2. According to social scientists, Bureaucracy is a formal structure, which

organizes and coordinates the various functions of large number of
individuals engaged in a common activity. The bureaucracy is rationally
organized structure designed for problem solving. Why do we need
Bureaucratic organization?

Activity for Week March 30 to April 3, 2020

1. Today, entire countries, workplaces, and schools are increasingly made
up of various cultural, racial, and ethnic groups. How do you make sense
of the importance of culture in your personal and community life? Try to
make narrative account of your own concrete cultural experiences.
 2. The knowledge of family planning decreased population growth. Is
abortion a family planning method? Is it legal or illegal and moral or
immoral?

Activity for Week April 6 to 10, 2020

1. How important is courtship to the youth today? Elaborate on courtship?
2. Write what you would regard as the traits of an ideal husband. Study
your list closely, which traits are really important to you? Pick only three
and explain why you chose them?
3. Debate on the proposition: Live in arrangement prior to decision to marry
or not contribute in ensuring stability of families
