THIS MATTER came before the Court on April 24, 2020 upon the Defendant
City of Miami’s February 11, 2020 Motion for a Protective Order. The
Court has reviewed the papers and heard from the parties in open court.
For the reasons stated on the record in open court, the City's Motion
is GRANTED in PART and DENIED in PART as follows:
1. With respect to the deposition of Joe Carollo, the Motion is
DENIED.
2. With respect to the deposition of Alex Diaz de la Portilla, the
Motion is GRANTED in so far as the duration of the deposition is limited
to 30 minutes not including objections. Otherwise, DENIED.
3. With respect to the City’s alternative request for a gag order and
all other relief, the Motion is DENIED.
DONE and ORDERED in Chambers at Miami-Dade County, Florida on this 1st day of May,
