THE INTERVENTION PLAN

Even the most idealistic students expect to find a good job after several years of study. They want
a job where they can apply their learning and obtain a reasonable income. This is especially true as
tuition increases. Students expect to be actively engaged; in addition, they hope to see the
relevance of their learning to the real world too.

Today students of certain environmental fields have grown up in a world where traveling is a
natural part of their activities. Their expectation is that traveling will be used to help them learn.
This is the case of a group of outstanding Colombian students that after they finished their
courses, they traveled to restoration for the Flavian amphitheater in Italy.
The president of Italy ordered an “intervention plan” for the restoration for the Flavian
amphitheater. People from the country and tourists love his idea. Specialists in the pathology area
and Specialists in the archaeological area organized an important group of experts that are in
charged of the intervention.
The first part of the intervention plan is completed with the restoration of the northern and
southern prospectus (approximately 13,300 square meters), and the replacement of the actual
locking system of arches with new gates.

The plan anticipates the restoration of the ambulatory and basements of the Colosseum.
Pathologists are working intensively to surpass the expectative as they use their excellent
equipment with the idea of the restoration of important areas that can be used for internal and
external visitors’ service and for the reception area.
