‫ توانسته در سه سال گزشته با فراهم نمودن زمینه های آموزشی برای اعضای کادر علمی‬،‫برآورده شدن نیازهای علمی جامعه‬

،‫ تن را به درجه دکتورا‬51 ‫ تن اساتید این پوهنتون را به درجه ماستر و‬56 ‫ از طریق بورسیه ها و تفاهمنامه های علمی‬،‫خود‬

‫ برنامه علمی کوتاه مدت‬382 ‫ به همین شکل اساتید این پوهنتون در‬.‫در پوهنتون های معتبر جهان جهت ادامه تحصیل ارتقا دهد‬

‫که به شکل ورکشاپها و سیمینار های علمی خارج از کشور جهت ارتقای ظرفیت اساتید راه اندازی شده بود اشتراک نموده نمایند‬.

‫ تفاهمنامه علمی را با پوهنتون های معتبر جهان و نهاد های داخلی و‬24 ‫در همین راستا پوهنتون کابل توانسته در سه سال اخیر‬

‫خارجی جهت معرفی اساتید به بورسیه ها و پروگرام های کوتاه مدت آموزشی امضا نماید‬.

Kabul University and I would like to thanks people’s Republic of China for its
continues contribution in higher education of Afghanistan and its support has
always been strategic for the Kabul University.

Kabul University is the oldest and largest national institution of tertiary education

in Afghanistan. Throughout its long history since 1930 not only it has provided
training to a large number of Afghans but had enjoyed popularity in the region by
University (KU)
attracting many students from our neighboring countries.  Kabul
had a rich culture, history, academic excellence and devastated by decades of
wars and instabilities in Afghanistan.

Kabul University’s vision is to transform Kabul University into and

internationally recognized institution of learning and research, a community
of stakeholders committed to shared governance, and a center of innovative
thought and practice.

Despite the progress since last years, there are still strategic options for the
development of Kabul University and the most important is:
        Enhancing the quality of university education. Like:
o   Increase in proportion of university academic staff with master
and PHD levels qualification.
o   Establishing international linkages for the quality assurance
system and Increase the stock of facilities and equipment to
enable modern teaching and learning.
o   Establish Internal Quality Assurance Units in universities.

Subject: Request for MoU between Kabul University and Jilin University

Following to our visit at the closing ceremony of the Seminar for Young and Middle-aged Education
Officials from Development Countries 2019, I am writing to you to establish further relations between
the Kabul University and Jilin University.
Kabul University, is the largest and oldest university in Afghanistan, since its establishment in 1932,
This University has provided higher education opportunities in different study levels. This university
has 21 Faculties and 96 departments, and has 76 agreements and MOU with abroad universities,
including university of Beijing and university of technology- Taiyuan city, in china.

Kabul University’s leadership is interested in preparing a Memorandum of Understanding which can

determine our relationship with the Jilin University. This Memorandum of Understanding can include
the Subjects: “Masters and PhD Scholarships, Teachers’ exchanges, holding scientific Exhibitions and
Collaborative scientific researches.

We request your consideration on this matter and looking forward to hear from you on this subject.
