Used Oil test results' Analysis, and

Recommendations

Analysis
- Full analysis could not be preformed due to lack of historical data found.

- High amounts of Copper and Chromium found in specimen ID (844), that

indicated severe wear on Bearings system or heat exchanger, but due to low
amount of Lead or Tin in this sample, Heat exchanger system, and valve's train
most likely suspected.

- Oil contaminate found as fuel dilution leading to speed up oil degradation.

- Viscosity index could not be determine, due to viscosity value at 100c is below
normal chart.

- Soot and TBN values seen, are induction of good fuel quality, low alkaline
degradation.

Recommendations :
- Oil quality on the samples given are under failure state, No mechanical protection
, and could be source of quick mechanical failure.

- Mechanical inspection is highly recommended for cylinder misfiring, coolant

leakage, and abnormal noise from engine valves train.

- Oil changes interval should be shorten to 50% below factory requirement until
sources of trouble found and repaired.

- Oil samples should be taken on 50Hrs run intervals to determine further condition
changes.
