• Completed a yearlong student teaching internship teaching Civics and AP US Government,
including a 10-week lead teach of an Elections unit in an 11th grade civics class for 55 students
• Taught lessons by using a variety of instructional strategies to retain student interest and
maximize learning including the CER framework (claim, evidence, reasoning), structured
academic controversies, and current events
