INFORMATION

The undersigned City Prosecutor accuses XXX YYY of the crime of

Rape, punishable under Art. 266-A of the Revised Penal Code, committed as
follows:

That on or about 1 May 2020 in Manila City and within the

jurisdiction of this Honorable Court, the accused, by means of force and
intimidation, did, then and there, willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously
succeed in having carnal knowledge of the victim, Ms. AAA BBB, 21 years
old, by inserting his penis into her vagina, against her will and consent, and
to the damage and prejudice of the victim.

Contrary to law.

that on the basis of the evidence presented, there is reasonable ground to
believe that the offense charged has been committed and the accused is
probably guilty thereof.

CERTIFICATION AS TO CONDUCT OF INQUEST

I hereby certify that the accused was lawfully arrested without a

warrant and that, upon being informed of his rights, refused to waive the
provisions of Art. 125 of the Revised Penal Code, and, for this reason, an
Inquest was conducted; that based on the complaint and the evidence
presented before me without any countervailing evidence submitted by the
accused, despite opportunity to do so, there is reasonable ground to believe
that the accused has committed the crime of Rape under Art. 266-A of the
Revised Penal Code, and thus, should be held liable for said crime.
